Foundation Academy has been notified by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS) and the Florida Council on Accreditation and School Improvement (CASI) that Foundation is now a SACS CASI accredited school. This accreditation is based upon the SACS CASI/ACSI co-accreditation agreement and formal recognition was given at the SACS CASI Annual Meeting.

Foundation Academy is pleased to join with SACS CASI which is part of a strong unified organization made up of the North Central Association Commission on Accreditation and School Improvement (NCA CASI) and the National Study of School Evaluation (NSSE). This group strives to serve as a national leader for quality education. SACS CASI accredits over 13,000 schools and school systems throughout the United States and overseas. It provides global leadership in helping schools improve student learning through accreditation.

Foundation Academy has been continuously accredited since 1987 and by ACSI starting in 1997. The K-8 and 9-12 high school program was evaluated and awarded ACSI accreditation in 2005. ACSI is an accrediting association, which is recognized by the National Council for Private School Accreditation (NCPSA). NCPSA is a nationwide private school accrediting body and it helps ensure that private schools meet high expectations while continually improving their programs.

Foundation Academy is a ministry of the First Baptist Church of Winter Garden (FBCWG) and is also a member of the Southern Baptist Association of Christian Schools (SBACS). SBACS seeks to impact the education of school-aged children toward a biblical worldview by providing information, training, fellowship and avenues of influence for pastors and educational leaders of Southern Baptist churches and schools.
