It is the desire of Foundation Academy to provide an environment of learning centered in Biblical principles, dependent on a quality curriculum, provided through a variety of teaching methods and materials, and administered by caring Christian teachers. A list of curriculum used for each grade level is provided the school office.

Affiliation & Accreditation

Foundation Academy is a ministry of First Baptist Church of Winter Garden (FBCWG), a Southern Baptist Church. The Academy is a private, non-profit, college preparatory, community Christian school. It is also a member of the Southern Baptist Association of Christian schools (SBACS), an organization that seeks to impact the education of school-aged children toward a biblical worldview by providing information, training, fellowship and avenues of influence for pastors and educational leaders of Southern Baptist churches and schools.

Foundation Academy is accredited by the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI), the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS) and the Florida Council on Accreditation and School Improvement (CASI).

Bible Instruction

Thy word is a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path. Psalm 119:105. Bible instruction is given daily at Foundation Academy. We feel that the Bible is the ultimate curriculum provided by God for a successful and fulfilled life. Prayer and Scripture memorization are taught as ways to develop spiritual growth. Bible is a graded subject just as Math and Reading. Grades are based on memory work, class participation and periodic evaluation.

Foundation Academy will admit students of any race, color, national and ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded or made available to students at the school.
