Family Attends 75th Pearl Harbor Anniversary

Today, December 7th, 2016, marks the 75th Anniversary of the attacks on Pearl Harbor. Justin and Amie Shuler and two of their sons, Jagger and Jaxtin, are actually in Pearl Harbor and participating in a special ceremony at the U.S.S. Missouri – Mighty MO to honor all those who have served, and are serving, in the United States of America. The location of today’s event holds particular historic significance as the U.S.S. Missouri – Mighty MO is where Japan surrendered during World War II.

The Shuler family will be joined by nearly 3,000 attendees from around the globe for this commemorative event. To watch the ceremony live, just click here at 5pm. The event is being live-streamed via Hawaii Channel 808 and will feature middle school, high school, and adult musicians–forming the Pearl Harbor Mass Band (nearly 1200 performers). We are so thankful one of our FA families is participating in this historic experience and look forward to tuning in.

The event will be LOVE streamed via Hawaii Channel 808. The event is scheduled to start at @ 5:00pm EST.
