Student Spotlight: Trusten K
Trusten K, 9th grade, competed October 5 – 6 in the Cable Games at Orlando Watersports Complex. The Cable Games was a two-day competition where competitors showed off their best tricks on the cable.
Trusten competed in the “novice” division. He finished 2nd in his heat, which qualified him to ride again later that day in LCQ’s (last chance qualifiers). He won LCQ’s, sending him to the semifinals that evening. He won first place in semifinals, which qualified him to compete on Sunday, October 6, in the Finals.
He placed 1st in his division for the Finals. Sixteen riders competed in the novice division. The Cable Games was his first-ever wakeboarding competition to ride in, and he did amazing! Congratulations, Trusten! Enjoy the gallery below of pictures from the competition.
