Erin Morris, a diagnostic sonographer and FA parent, paid a visit to Mrs. Norat’s 7th grade honors science class this past week. After teaching about the cardiac system, Mrs. Morris discussed what sonographers do and what types of hearts she has seen. As her time as a volunteer at the Animal Kingdom, she used her skills to help veterinarians better understand and diagnose what’s going on in the heart of silver-backed gorillas.
