About

Welcome

Welcome and thank you for visiting our website! I know that if you are here, it’s because you are committed to finding the best education possible for your child. As President of Foundation Academy, I feel our school provides the best Christian education in Central Florida. You might say that I am a little biased when it comes to our school, and you’re right. The love our teachers and administration have for the students makes Foundation Academy a school you will want your kids to be a part of. At Foundation, the commitment to education is strong and fruitful with 100 percent college placement since 2010. Our students are graduating with offers from colleges like Auburn, Citadel, and Harvard, to name just a few, with millions of dollars in scholarship money.

We have three amazing campuses to explore. Our 7th-12th grade campus, known as our Tilden Campus, sits on 67 acres in west Orange County. The campus is nestled between beautiful homes in one of the fastest growing areas in the country.

Our Plant Street Campus serves grades Pre-K3 through 6 and is located in the heart of charming downtown Winter Garden, behind the iconic church sanctuary of First Baptist Church of Winter Garden.  With an educational complex of over 19,600 square feet of classroom and instructional space, including two STEM classrooms, a media center/library, computer labs, and a 5,400-square-foot gymnasium.

Our newest campus, Foundation Academy Lakeside, is a second Lower School campus, located at 8464 Winter Garden Vineland Rd, Orlando, FL 32836, which is First Baptist Church Windermere’s Lakeside Campus.  Kindergarten and 1st grade are available for the 2020-2021 school year. The campus will grow a new grade level each school year up through 6th grade. Students will then transition to our Tilden Campus for 7th through 12th grade. In addition to our well established, vibrant curriculum, students also take part in art, music, multimedia, P.E., and weekly chapel services.

Our six core values define the characteristics of our school that we are wholeheartedly committed to developing at every level.

  1. Authority of Scripture
  2. Spiritual Formation
  3. Academic and Physical Discipline
  4. Individual Purpose
  5. Authentic Servanthood
  6. Commitment to Community

In conclusion, we believe everything we do should be implemented with Christ-like excellence and in a manner fit to serve the kingdom of God. (Colossians 3:23-24).

I would like to personally invite you to tour our school, and I look forward to meeting you,

David Buckles
President
