To help get the Christmas season going, Foundation Academy elementary, middle and high school students participated once again in the annual Winter Garden Christmas Parade.
The theme for this years float was “Go Tell it on the Mountain”. FA art teacher, Vinny Siracusano, worked with the elementary students to each make their own amazing puppets. During the parade, the elementary students, along with principal Angel Whitehead and Mr. SIracusano, rode on the float and had their puppets sing along with the Christmas classic “Go Tell it on the Mountain”. The float delighted parade watchers of all ages.
Along with the float, our varsity football, boys soccer and girls teams led Foundation with the school banner and handed out candy and Merry Christmas wishes. A group of elementary walkers also shared Christmas candy to eagerly awaiting children along the parade route. The cheerleaders and mascot Luke the Lion, rounded out the Foundation representation in the parade and did a great routine for the judges.
