Keith Yarborough was born in Atlanta, Georgia and has lived in Winter Garden for over 45 years. He attended Stetson University as a music major, graduated from Valencia College, received a B.A. in Sociology from the University of Central Florida, and a Masters in Religious Education from Southwestern Seminary. Keith teaches Life of Christ, Life Calling, and Apologetics to 10th-12th grade at the Tilden Campus. He is also the director of  FA’s Student Leadership Institute.

“God has blessed me with a wonderful, beautiful, Godly wife. He has given us three of the best children in the world, their spouses, and also two grandchildren. Interacting with them is the center of my life. I enjoy all styles of music, and continue participating and watching competitive sports. Boating, fishing, scuba diving and all types of outdoor activities have been a big part of our lives. Taking students on many mission trips around the world has afforded the opportunity to serve many cultures and places. Probably, apart from the country of Israel the place I have visited that was the most exciting has been Yellowstone National Park. You just never know there, what you might see around the next corner. Adventure in the world, for the Kingdom is truly living life.”

Keith’s favorite Bible verse is Ephesians 3:20. His greatest influences include his wife, Susan, for showing God’s unconditional love, Richard Wells, Danny Daniels, William Wilberforce, and Eric Liddell.

His drive to engage students comes from his life verse found in Psalm 71:17-18: “Since my youth, God, you have taught me, and to this day I declare your marvelous deeds. Even when I am old and gray, do not forsake me, my God, till I declare your power to the next generation, your mighty acts to all who are to come.”
