I am originally from South Texas, but we moved here to Orlando 5 years ago from Tennessee.  I am a graduate of Southwest Texas State University, with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Interdisciplinary Studies, with a specialization in Music.  I teach 2nd grade at the Plant Street campus.  In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family going to the beach, watching our favorite movies together and attending my kids’ sporting events.  My favorite Bible verse is Colossians 1:28-29. 

The main goal in my classroom is that I reflect Jesus on a daily basis to my students and their families.  In addition, I try to be intentional about filtering all academic content through Scripture.  By achieving these goals, my prayer is that my students will come closer in their relationship to the Lord.
