Miranda Hussey is the Director of Development for Foundation Academy. Miranda is originally from Sodus Point, New York, a small village on the southern shores of Lake Ontario. She attended The College at Brockport, State University of New York, earning her degree in Recreation and Leisure Studies: Facilities Planning and Program Management. Miranda has a home office on the Tilden campus but travels to the Plant and Lakeside campuses regularly. Miranda loves the creative process and puts her crafting skills to work when facilitating events for Foundation’s yearly senior class, alumni, and Legacy Lions. She loves to travel and spend time making memories with her family. She credits her work ethic and a strong sense of family to her father, who supported her with unconditional love and encouragement. Miranda’s favorite Bible verse comes from 2 Corinthians 1:3-4 which says, “Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we receive from God.” Miranda is grateful to be part of an organization that educates children with faith and love and where the teachers desire to see students succeed. She loves working with her amazing team and says, “It is refreshing to work alongside people who are dedicated to leaving the world a little bit better than what it is now.”
