Misty Mercier is from Marietta, Ohio. She received a B.A. from The Ohio State University and a Master of Education in Educational Leadership from the American College of Education. Misty teaches 6th grade Science at our Plant Street Campus. She also serves at First Baptist at Horizon West as a small group table leader. Misty’s favorite Bible verse is Philippians 4:6-8.

“I hope my students know that they will always have a safe space with me to feel loved, learn new things, take risks, and continue their faith journeys. I love seeing the light bulb go off when they learn something new or make a discovery on their own. I look forward to watching their growth throughout the year in my classroom, and become their cheerleader for life when they move on to the next grade.”
