Through his experience, Coach White has exhibited the skills, experience, and leadership qualities necessary to lead the Foundation Academy football program in a manner that will fulfill our mission and continue to build upon the remarkable Lion football legacy of success.
About Coach Daniel White
Coach White played his high school ball here in Central Florida at Apopka High School. He continued his playing career collegiately at the University of Alabama Birmingham as a linebacker from 2009 to 2013, where he studied Health Education and earned his MBA from Wagner College in 2020.
Coach White’s coaching portfolio includes time at Wagner College as a defensive graduate assistant, where he specialized in linebacker play. From 2020 through 2022, he was an assistant coach at Morehead State University, coaching safeties and cornerbacks. In 2023, Coach White moved to Delaware State University to coach linebackers. In addition to his coaching experience, he developed comprehensive training programs, designed and managed game strategies, and helped establish and maintain relationships with staff and parents. Known for his strong commitment to the development of young men, he firmly believes that athletics provide an excellent platform for teaching life lessons such as perseverance, integrity, and responsibility. Coach White intends to foster a culture of respect, accountability, and leadership within the team, ensuring that each player has the opportunity to reach their full potential, as well as fostering their personal growth in their faith in Christ and ensuring Christian values are instilled in their development as young men and student-athletes. In addition to his role as Head Football Coach, Coach White will be involved in the FAST strength and conditioning program. He will also serve the entire Foundation Academy family as the Director of Collegiate Recruiting. Coach White is working on building out his staff and implementing his football operations plans.
