Foundation Academy to Host Girls District Weightlifting Meet for the First Time in History
Foundation Academy is set to make history this Friday, January 24th, as it hosts the Girls District Weightlifting Meet for the very first time on campus. The event will take place in the gymnasium, marking a milestone achievement for the school’s athletic department and facilities team. Their hard work and dedication have made it possible for Foundation Academy to welcome athletes from Montverde Academy, Windermere Prep, Tenoroc, New Dimensions, and Discovery High School.
This historic event will begin with weigh-ins at 10:00 AM, followed by what promises to be an exciting day of competition. Foundation Academy’s weightlifting program has grown tremendously in recent years, and this meet underscores the school’s commitment to empowering female athletes and showcasing their strength and determination.
