This past week, both the junior varsity and the varsity boys basketball teams competed in a team camp hosted at Foundation Academy that consisted of some of the best programs in the state of Florida. Our boys varsity basketball team went 7-2 and beat South Lake High School 49-46 to win the team camp championship.
Newly announced head coach, Sharrod Williams stated “After our first tournament setting together, I have come to realize that our team is a special group capable of greatness. As a coaching staff, we stress the importance of being a person of high character on and off the court and I believe the players have started to buy into that the last day of camp when we defeated two really good programs back to back. I am proud to be their coach.”
