When Science and Eggs Collide!

On Friday, December 2nd, our 4th Grade students participated in the annual egg drop on the North Campus! Students worked to create a “Safe Egg Vehicle” that would withstand a fall from the second floor of the school building. If the egg did not crack, Mrs. Bundy dropped it from the roof for the next test. Many eggs survived, however many more were sunny side up!

The egg drop was a STEM learning activity that focused on potential and kinetic energy. This is just one example of how we approach learning in creative and tangible ways at FA. Thank you to all the teachers and students who participated in this annual event!
