Foundation Academy sends a big thank you to all the parents and staff who supported the FA Fund . We would like to share an update on where the funds impacted the school, teachers & students. As promised, FA Funds were utilized towards these 3 key areas:
1. Spiritual Development
Supports teacher and student training to encourage decisions for Christ. In the 2023/2024 school year we experienced a revival with over 97 baptisms or decisions for Christ from our 3 campuses!
This Summer ‘24 the FA Fund also supported some of our teachers & staff attending a spiritual training conference, which will equip them with the tools and inspiration needed to influence and guide our students in their faith journeys. We believe that fostering a strong spiritual foundation is essential for nurturing future Christian leaders who will make a positive impact on the world.
2. Tuition Assistance
We understand the financial challenges that families may face and are committed to making a Foundation Academy education accessible to as many students as possible. Our tuition assistance program has been expanded to provide greater support to families in need, helping over 55 students annually. We believe that every child deserves the opportunity to receive a quality Christian education, regardless of their financial situation. By supporting future Christian leaders, we ensure that our students are equipped to make a positive impact in their communities and beyond.
3. Innovation
The FA Fund also supports cutting-edge curriculum programs, security & safety along with advanced faculty training.
This past year we received a generous gift to the fund which enabled the school to purchase two new buses with top safety features making us now have 4 buses for field trips and other programs.
The FA Fund also supported purchasing the VEX Robotics for STEM programs, and partially funded by PAWS, for our Plant and Lakeside elementary students. This will provide hands-on experiences in robotics and engineering, complementing the robotics program they can grow into at the Tilden Campus.
The FA Fund also invested in new cutting-edge sound equipment for the Tilden Gym to enhance the actors and audience experience for the Fine Arts Plays and incorporate innovative teaching strategies the stage students will learn with this new technology.
Security and safety is always top priority for the school and FA fund. over the years we have installed over 230 security cameras across our three campuses, ensuring a safe environment for our students and staff. Additionally, we have six security officers who provide an average of 11 hours of daily monitoring across all campuses. These improvements, along with numerous other enhancements, support our mission and enhance the overall educational experience at Foundation Academy.
The Fund also provides teachers with advanced training so they are equipped with the latest techniques to engage our students.
