Exemplary Private School Athletics
At Foundation Academy, student-athletes are pushed to develop what is referred to as The Heart of a Lion—a bold heart that confronts adversity with strength, dignity, and wisdom, loyally protecting others and facing fear when others will not.
Throughout the year, the Athletic Department focuses on this theme to come alongside each student-athlete as they become more intentional about practicing these character traits while displaying them for the FA Family—our Lion Pride.
Foundation Academy offers athletics at the Elementary, Middle School, Junior Varsity, and Varsity levels.
The Highlights
At Foundation Academy, we take pride in our private school athletics and are fortunate to have:
- A variety of athletic opportunities for elementary through high school students
- Members of the Florida High School Athletic Association (FHSAA)
- Exceptional facilities, including two softball fields, a baseball field, football/soccer fields, a multi-purpose gymnasium featuring two regulation-size basketball courts, three volleyball courts and a weight room
- Tremendous coaches who are committed to Christ, encourage good citizenship, strive for academic excellence, and pursue all things that bring honor to God
- Many athletes who continue at a collegiate level; some who’ve earned generous scholarships
Athletic Opportunities
Elementary School Sports
Our Lions Pride Youth Athletic Program introduces our littlest lions to the fundamentals of athletics in an environment conducive to learning. The program offers basketball, soccer, flag football, and more.
Middle School Sports
Foundation Academy Middle School Athletic program has a wide offering of competitive sports. The program is intended to move them from our Lions Pride to a more competitive level of sports.
Varsity Sports
A member of the FHSAA for all high school sports, Foundation Academy offers a wide variety of athletic opportunities for our older Lions, including swim, tennis, lacrosse, baseball, weightlifting, football, cheer, and more.
Foundation Boosters
Our goal is to instill The Heart of a Lion into each student-athlete. The Lions Athletic Booster Club membership provides our Athletic Department with additional financial resources to train our athletes, support our coaches, and cultivate a healthy competitive atmosphere that leads to growth and winning programs.
