The Foundation Academy middle school program allows students to begin pursuing honors level coursework in the 6th grade by providing the option for honors Mathematics and English. Students will then have the option of a wider range of honors course offerings as they progress through the 7th and 8th grades. Foundation Academy’s students who are pursuing honors level curriculum have the opportunity to earn their first high school credits in Mathematics with Algebra I Honors in either 7th or 8th grade and Foreign Language in 8th. A well balanced offering of electives and enrichment classes compliment a solid academic program including robotics, art, choir, band and drama.
Curriculum driven field trips are enjoyed in middle school and vary each year. However two hallmark overnight trips are a tradition: 7th grade goes to SeaCamp and 8th grade visits Washington D.C.
