The Foundation Academy middle school program allows students to begin pursuing honors-level coursework in the 6th grade by providing the option for honors Mathematics and English. Students will then have the option of a wider range of honors course offerings as they progress through the 7th and 8th grades. Foundation Academy’s students who are pursuing honors-level curriculum have the opportunity to earn their first high school credits in Mathematics with Algebra I Honors in either 7th or 8th grade and Foreign Language in 8th. A well-balanced offering of electives and enrichment classes compliment a solid academic program including robotics, art, choir, band, and drama.
Curriculum driven field trips are enjoyed in middle school and vary each year. However, two hallmark overnight trips are a tradition: 7th grade goes to SeaCamp and 8th grade visits Washington D.C.
