NEHS COMMUNITY SERVICE
NEHS Students at the Plant Street Campus are required to complete a minimum of 3 hours of Community Service per year. This is an introduction for them to get excited about serving others in various ways in our community. Together they volunteered more than 250 hours of their time. Some of the organizations they chose to serve at were: Matthew’s Hope, SIeep in Heavenly Peace, LIFT Disability Network, Second Harvest Food Bank, various churches, Miles to Go, Donations for Ukraine, Color A Smile, Neighborhood Clean-up, Howard Phillips Center for Children, Lili Community Foundation, The Greyson Project, Blessing Bags, Meals on Wheels, Christmas Across South Lake, Buddy Break, Beach Clean-Up, Society of St. Andrews Gleaning, Buses and Backpacks, etc. Remember that the summer is a great time to volunteer!
